One thing I really noticed when recreating the style the first time (And you cannot tell form the pictures because, duh, it was a feeling) was that the style felt so ridiculously "loose". Like, one head tilt and those front braids would fall into some other position. Having the braids secured differently in both ends would make a lot of sense.Lady Igorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06451836583153403025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-304537496073354773.post-47398995353712393582018-08-16T01:49:25.618+02:002018-08-16T01:49:25.618+02:00Yes, that would definitely add some volume. Thank ...Yes, that would definitely add some volume. Thank you :) I don´t really like the look of those obviously-pancake´d braids. I think when it´s done discretely on hair that could use some extra volume, it looks really nice, but when you can tell because the braid is like wrist-thick.... no. I have some images but have no idea how to upload them here. I can try to figure out how to send them to you on FB :D Darkhorsehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17330160434456876437noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-304537496073354773.post-60896282327502083892018-08-10T18:06:21.255+02:002018-08-10T18:06:21.255+02:00I think you could pancake the small braids. Btw I ...I think you could pancake the small braids. Btw I respect the fact that you don't pancake your braids. God knows how much I hate the liar holistic habits for her unnatural bigger-than-alia-nasyrova braid!Luisa Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16581398220445207161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-304537496073354773.post-87900027422239945202018-08-10T07:41:15.685+02:002018-08-10T07:41:15.685+02:00I LOVE IT!! I love how you personalized it. I'...I LOVE IT!! I love how you personalized it. I'm thinking you could play around with the Royal Bun and this style and make a CVH Royal Bun. :D

I wondered something--she may have had more hair in the front---I have more hair at the top than underneath, but others may have more hair at the back--that would explain her 'thick' front braids. I feel that perhaps her hair was thicker in the front, and the back may have not been as thick, but her length created that bun thickness?

Also, what if they pancaked the braids back then too? Thickening them up for a painting? My guess is there is some 'hair-shop' going on (tell Mr Igor I LOVE THAT and giggle all the time).

Darkhorsehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17330160434456876437noreply@blogger.com
