These
buildings were artillery barracks from 1914 to 1999.
Now the area is under partial city planning to residential use.
However, it
is still home to some civil defence activity.
In the other end of the town is Ringsted Outlet.
It’s a pedestrian
shopping district in itself, like a little village.
It has
outlet stores and factory stores, in general shops where the products are way
cheaper than usual.
