Today’s outfit

Today I’m representing the associates of work #2. Which means I’m wearing an incredibly unflattering orange T-shirt with their logo.

I have a strong dislike for that thing. First of all, orange is a really unflattering colour on me. 

Second, the people representing another branch are wearing a much cooler colour: Muted purple. No fair! Why am I stuck with the traffic-cone orange one?

I did my best matching the unflattering shirt…

The pearl Flexi 9 (Tree of life) was the closest thing I had to a white hair tool to match the white print on the back.

(And yes, I have purposely cropped the logo out)

Hair is in my most discrete style: The braided nautilus. 

Then I found a yellow long sleeved shirt in almost the same tone as a pair of off-brand yellow sneakers.

(Then I congratulated myself for matching so white details like that. Then realised no one would notice. Hah.)

And finished with a pair of plain, dark jeans.

Verdict: Not too bad at all for a T-shirt I think suck. 

Throwback Thursday

My first longhair meeting ever!

I met up with the lovely Madeleine, someone I had the craziest haircrush ever on.

She has the most angelic hair: Hennaed, fine and always soft and feminine. The exact opposite of mine!

I lost the link to her website somewhere along the way, but she had tutorials and lots of picture inspiration and I learned so much from her.

I had my hair in a peacock twist that she taught me that day. 

New nail love

I have grown really fond of the “lace” style nail art stickers. If I don’t push them all the way back to the cuticles, they stay a lot nicer than other nail art stickers because you don’t see the regwroth so fast.

  

Today’s hair

Chinese bun held with Ketylos.

I almost re-did it when I saw the elastics showing, but by random chance I had used pink elastics that match the pink stripes on the Adidas shirt.

Pretty cool!
