December 19th

Another styling spray in todays Schwarzkopf Christmas calendar. I complained about this last year too, but it really annoying me that the styling products are 100 ml, where the hair masks are only 30. This year I did get one amazing, full size leave in conditioner, but even then, the styling products are obviously larger.

I must say though, this is the shortest ingredient list I think I have ever seen?

Schwarzkopf OSIS Texture Craft Dry Texture Spray
Alcohol denat., VP/VA Copolymer, Aqua (Water, Eau), Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Glycerin, Talc, Parfum (Fragrance).

The expanse season 5 is out!

I'm so happy to see they decided to follow the same pattern as The Boys and release three episodes at once before continuing with one a week after that. Good choice!

I love the books and I love the show too, so I'll be stuck on the couch to watch and rewatch this today.

Todays Schwarzkopf calendar had a styling product: Osis+ Soft volumizing powder. It has a funny smell that reminds me of some sort of candy. This will also go to a friend.

Another shampoo today. Schwarzkopf fibre clinix tribond volumize shampoo. I haven't been able to find an ingredient list for this online, and I'm honestly too lazy to type it up myself for a 50 ml sample size shampoo that I will give away anyways.

I found lots of pompous descriptions of it online though:
Fibre Clinix is the new fully modular hair care regimen harnessing cutting-edge science with customisation targeting multiple hair needs. The C21 & Tripple Bonding Technology offer Schwarzkopf Professional's most advanced and powerful repair performance.

TRIPLE BONDING TECHNOLOGY
The advanced bonding technology, which is based on 10 years of research and strengthens the hair structure from within. It features a trivalent ion that builds new bonds through the creation of a 3-dimensional network inside the hair fibre. The Fibre Clinix regimen increases elasticity, resilience and leads to hair that is up to 10x stronger.

C21 TECHNOLOGY
Virgin hair is protected by an outer layer of 21 hydrocarbons called proteolipids, a combination of proteins and fatty acids. Damaged hair loses this protective layer. The C21 Technology restores the C21-Lipid chains, which is more than the previous C18-Lipid chains. This brings the cuticle closer to natural perfection for improved shine, manageability and natural movement.

 Igor's mess on four braids

It's one of those updos where I'm not completely sure if it counts as a separate updo, or a hybrid of Chinese, cinnamon and something else. I mean, there is only so much you can really do with hair, especially when it comes to coiling it around itself.

The Schwarzkopf calendar had a styling product today, but one that actually sounded interesting. This is a texturizing hairspray, but it's based on sugar.
I'm not an expert on styling products since I don't use them, but a sugar based styling product sounds interesting to me.
Would sugar as opposed to salt be better or gentler for your hair and scalp? Does anyone know?

Schwarzkopf Osis+ Dry Sugar Spray Beach Texture ingredients
Dimethyl Ether, Aqua, Alcohol denat., Sucrose, PEG-8, Glycerin, PEG-60, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Benzoate, Parfum, Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamal, Citronellol, Geraniol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Alcohol

My leave in conditioner did not hold up well over night? It got more messy than usual.

Not a big problem though, since the cute messiness works pretty well with the megaRoyal bun.

Especially now when it's hat season, I like really flat buns.

The Schwarzkopf calendar had another Mad About Waves product today. For a second, I was happy thinking it was a leave in conditioner spray, but to turned out to be a texturizing spray.

Schwarzkopf Professional Mad About Waves Sea Blend Texturizing Spray ingredients
Aqua, VP/VA Copolymer, PEG-8, Sodium Chloride, Magnesium Sulfate, Glycerin, Polyimide-1, Sodium Citrate, PEG-32, Sodium Benzoate, Lactic Acid, PPG-26-Buteth-26, Acrylamidopropyltrimonium Chloride/Acrylamide Copolymer, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Parfum, Linalool, Benzyl Salicylate, Phenoxyethanol, Limonene
