Today's hair

The problem with having hair that is super easy to care for is that it tends to slip your mind completely when you are busy with other things.

I really have been neglecting my hair lately.

So today's hair is a nodosaurus and I will keep it like this overnight for a super deep conditioning.

Trim

I totally lost the patience with the trim-schedule today and asked hubby to take off 10 cm or more. 

Yep, even I will take stress out on my hair. Hmm.

Anyways. I'm actually really happy with it. For the first time in years my hair feels "short", but also for the first time in years I feel that my ends have really thickened up!
Also, I'm finally back at fingertip length and combing is a breeze.
No regrets.
Length shot will come later when I can be bothered to let it air dry on it's own.

Today's hair

So, yesterdays updo had me thinking: What if I made the bun first, and then used the "leftover" braid to form the headband second?
Sort of opposite order of this, I guess?

I think it looked pretty nice with the thinner braid-ends as headbands, but I lost quite a bit of the stability I get with doing it the other way around. Hmm.

Today's hair

This is probably one of my favorite updos

Two Dutch braids, one wrapped around as a "headband" and pinned into place with a stick. The other braid wrapped around in an infinity figure around the first hair stick. Second hair stick adds stability.

One of my new colleges brought her dog today. I usually dislike that type of small dogs because they're almost always hyperactive, yipping constantly and generally untrained because "They're so cute!" so no one disciplines them. This little guy was cute and well behaved though!
