wow that would make my hands hurt! or stuck in the bun for that matter. :D I actually though the infinity bun is horizontal figure 8 bun. the pro of the infinity bun is not having your hair toy thinglying your neck.
I have seen people do a horizontal figure 8 as an infinity bun actually! But it seems to only work for a very specific length, because once you begin having to make more coils, it gets too bottom/side heavy and then you lose the symmetry
