I just went to look and wow! That looks great! I especially love the dramatic contrast between your pretty, dark hair and the hair stick. That really makes your hair colour pop! BTW I added your blog to my blog list :) I felt I had some lopsided-issue too and I think it's because the French braid "lifts" the hair up so you have more layer and more taper from it? Too bad you can't really make this bun without a layer of some sort to anchor the hair stick in it...
