Did a blog post on that hairstyle. It looks so pretty and regal on you, not so much on me sadly. My mane can be such a wild fuzzy thing sometimes. It was nice to try something new though. Tried the headband and bun combo too, my length makes it quite awkward and unstable, I'm at fingertip. Too bad. Lison
Sorry that it didn't work for you :( Hair type can make such a big difference on if an updo works or not. Maybe a little more length would help you be able to "anchor" the updo a little better?
