I had two Memebox packages waiting for me when I came home from the last seminar. The first was the usual pink box in the usual pink bubble wrap. The second was two pink boxes together in a ordinary cardboard box.

Ariul Spa Water 24 Hours Moisturizing Refreshing Mist

Sweet! I’ve been looking around for a new mist to go in my shoulder bag. I’ve been using Recipe by nature Spray Water Essence, which seems to be the Holy Grail product for half the bloggers who write about Memebox, but lately I’ve been wondering if I tolerate it. I seem to get some redness at my lower cheeks/jaw line after spraying it on. One golden and absolute rule I’ve learned from having sensitive skin: When in doubt, stop using the damn product.

It feels very light and refreshing. Has a nice scent too.

Hmm? Alright, why not? So far I’ve managed to avoid makeup products in my boxes fairly well, but since this is more of a skin perfecting tool than “makeup”-makeup, I might actually use this.

This is exactly why I go for the Memeboxes instead of an ordinary subscription boxes: Although Memeboxes sometimes are unpredictable (Like the OMG box that was widely recognised for not being OMG at all, or the Hair&body box that was a huge failure for me, or the shaving box that bloggers found didn’t have any actual shaving products at all) there is still a certain theme to them and you can avoid things you don’t want, such as too much makeup.

The Pure Smile lip balm from the Vitamin box that I keep in my shoulder bag is awesome. It contains snail extract. It creeped me out to begin with, but the product is awesome enough to sway me. Maybe this will too.

Secret Nature Volcanic Ash Pore Pack

Awesome. This is the stuff I wanted from this box! It smells fantastically intriguing.

Shara Shara Black Charcoal Mask

Awesome. This is the stuff I wanted from this box! I have a drawer full of moisturising sheet masks and now I have a single purifying one.

Tosowoong Super Aqua Cooling Gel

You know how some products just feels like quality? Like the materials are heavy and well made? This one does. Little bit out of season for cooling gel though! I might save this for next summer. Hmm!

Memebox #41: Jackpot box

The cardboard box with the two pink boxes in confused me a lot. Like, embarrassingly much. Neither contained a little product sheet like they usually did, so I crosschecked my order-list. The only one that had shipped out was the scrub-box and it left me really confused.

After way too much confusion I figured out it was the Jackpot box I had received, just distributed in two pink boxes.

Bah. Now I have two of this exact bar soap. Same colour and everything.

Care Lily & Lilac fabric refresher

Now I have two fabric perfumes. Funny, I knew these things exist, but I never thought of buying one. Does anyone know if you can mix them in the last cycle of your laundry? I want to do that instead of spraying it on my clothes more or less randomly.

Carestory collagen ampoule 200

First thought of this: What a silly and gimmicky little thing trying to look like a medicine ampoule. Even has the right opening function with a membrane for sticking a syringe through.

Cotterang JJoyy Bubble Peeling Pad 

It seems to be an exfoliating pad. Will be fun to try one that bubbles!

Davi Napa Cream le grand cru

A super fancy tiny little cream. Something about this little thing just grinds my gears: It looks too adult, too serious, too fancy, too “You couldn’t afford the real size of me” (It’s a sample size, not full). I can’t wait to try this, notice the lack of effect and scoff at its fanciness. Yeah, I can be petty that way.

Evas Vitamin Sun Cream SPF38 PA++ 

I have one of these already and keep it in my shoulder bag. I’m not particularly impressed with this one: It seems very whitening and leaves a residue too thick for my skin type.

Still, the product looks more fun and less serious, so it will probably go into my bag when I’ve used the old one up.

Hair+ Velvet Nutri-Injection 

Some intense Googling later and I know that this is a conditioner that can also be used as a leave in conditioner. It would have been so much easier if I just had my little product card…!!

I will probably use it for my Nodosaurus at some time.

Iope essential facial oil

Sweet! I ran out of the last one. (Yea, you really shouldn’t do OCM with a fancy oil like this) Although I do have a backup since I bought two Iope boxes, I don’t complain about having a second one to store.

Now I have one I tested, one from the extra Iope box and one from the Jackpot box. This will go into my “Potential gifts”-pile.

Kan Skin Bioen Aqau essence

I really like essences. I’ve been using them a lot. They’re like creams, only lighter, but you still give your skin a nice boost. I’ve actually gone so far as to slap some essence on when I’m in the bathroom for non skincare purposes. Will look forward to this.

If this is anywhere near my skin tone, I will like this.

O’sulloc water +

This left me confused: The rest of the box is so focussed on skin care, and then they throw in a 3 piece sample of some diet water thingie? Yea, why not, but it feels really out of place.

T.P.O No-wash toner sheet

Cool. This will save me having to apply my toner to the cotton pad before using. Feels like there is a lot in here, so I hope the closing mechanism shuts tight so it doesn’t evaporate.

Tosowoong Timeshift toner

Very pretty bottle! Looking forward to try this.
