I'm considering it ;) I've been stuck at knee-ish for years so maybe it's time to try for more length. Needing more length for cool updos has always been my motivation for growing longer, so it's actually fun to find something I need more length for again!
I generally found that log rolls are one of those styles that work better and better the more length you have to anchor it. Especially for those of us with a lot of their hair around the nape area.
Maybe try it again with a braid that has a flatter base so that it's more "spread out" against you scalp? I remember when I did log rolls (never braided though) I had to make the first turn flat, otherwise it would jut out and the entire construction fell.
I recommend you grow to floor length and come back with the answer! ;-)
ReplyDeleteBe safe and well Lady Igor, blessings to you & family.

DeleteIt looks very pretty. I have been wanting to try this one.

Hmmm. A flatter base, you say? That makes me think I should try this on a five-stranded braid base. Thank you for the idea!
